Punter and resident fat man Ryan "Fudge" Plackemier was released by the HAWKS yesterday. Yes the Hawks immediately signed another punter Jon Ryan, formerly of the Green Bay Packers. This release is welcomed in my eyes. After seeing how inconsistent Plackemier was at Buffalo I really could care less about this move. Plackemier was a fat slow piece of crap that didn't even try to stop the return by Roscoe Parrish last Sunday. I feel a little better about the Punt Return because Roscoe Parrish has a better punt return average than Devon Hester. Lets just hope we end up making it to the final game (SUPERBOWL) against the Bills so we can have some shot at redemption.
The Seahawks have got a lot to work on. Especially now with Rob Sims being out for the year with surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle. Can anyone say Steve Vallos? I think this kid has what it takes to play this position. He showed that in preseason. END....
